Radvision to provide video solution to Spain's Cestel - Analysts predict that the company will post earnings per share of $0.84 on $90.8 million revenue in 2006
Radvision, a provider of voice and video network solutions over
IP and 3G networks, has signed a new contract in Spain. The company
will provide Centro Espanol de Servicios Telematicos SA (Cestel),
a Spanish system integrator for the media and call center industry,
with its Interactive Video Platform to incorporate advanced video
capabilities to its contact center and IVR solutions.
The size of the contract was not disclosed.
Radvision Mobility & Service Provider Business Unit general
manager Alon Barnea said, "Our collaboration with Cestel further
proves that interactive video services for the mobile and contact
center markets offer real revenue-generating opportunities,"
said. "Cestel's video-enhanced IVRs deployed throughout Spain
are an important milestone towards widely-deployed interactive multimedia
services -- further validating the transformation from visionary
ideas to real business solutions using interactive video."
Radvision, run by CEO Boaz Raviv, has a market cap of $445 million,
after a 21 percent rise in its share price since January. The company
posted a net profit of $8.1 million on $65.7 million revenue in
January-September 2006.
Analysts predict that the company will post net earnings per share
of $0.84 on $90.8 million revenue in 2006 as a whole.
The company operates through two divisions: Networking Business
Unit (NBU), which focuses multimedia communication and videoconferencing
network solutions over IP, 3G and other networks; and Technology
Business Unit (TBU), which provides protocol toolkits and testing
solutions for the development of voice, video, and data communication
solutions. The company's customers include Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:CSCO),
the world's largest telecommunications equipment provider.
